State Inspection - Pennsylvania requires you to have your vehicle inspection for safety, upon passing, you will receive a window sticker valid for one year. Your entire vehicle will get a thorough check-up and again we will get your approval before making any repairs.
Emission Testing - Pennsylvania also requires your vehicle to pass a smog test, when passed, you will receive a window sticker valid for one year.
Tune-ups - Tune-ups improve performance and fuel economy and prevent costly future repairs.
Oil Changes - Dave's Auto Service recommends changing the oil and filter on your vehicle every 3,500 miles to prevent engine damage.
Brake Services - We inspect brakes, rotors, hoses, calipers and other components when doing a brake job on your vehicle.
Exhaust Service - We replace mufflers, tail pipes, intermediate pipes, catalytic converters and complete systems.
Computer Diagnostics - When any light comes on your dash, we can check with our equipment to see what is going on and perform testing and inspection to correct the problem.
Transmission Flushes - We recommend at every 30,000 miles to have your fluid flushed out and install new fluid. If your transmission is slipping, not shifting, it may be too late to service.
Coolant Service - We test your coolant for a Ph factor, depending on the Ph level or even the color of the fluid we recommend flushing out and installing new coolant. We also check hoses, cap and connections at this time.
Power Steering Service - If power steering fluid is very dark, we recommend flushing at this time or every 30,000 miles.
Tires - We can save you a trip to a "tire store" We install, mount and balance tires. We also think that it is important to rotate tires at every other oil change to maintain the life of your tires.
Fuel Induction Service - Fuel induction service cleans carbon buildup off of fuel injectors, fuel rails, intake valves and combustion chambers. This lowers the emissions, improves performance and gas mileage.
Air Conditioning Service - Check temperature output, compressor operation, replace compressors , and recharge system.
Suspension Repair - We check and replace Shocks, Struts, Coils, ball joints and inspect/repair / replace other components as necessary.
Engine and Transmission - We do complete engine and transmission replacements.
Clutch Repair / Replacement - We replace clutches and slave cylinders.
Belts - We check all belts for glazing, cracking or dryness, replace as necessary.
Batteries - We test, replace or recharge batteries.
Timing Belt Service - We perform timing belt and water pump services for all makes and models. We recommend doing this service every 60,000 miles. If you have a certain type of motor and your belt breaks, it could do severe damage to your vehicle.
